# Aniultimatium

> Aniultimatium is a free, open-source IPTV player and streaming app for TVs. It plays your own M3U playlist or Xtream login (added from a phone with a code or QR scan), with a fast channel browser for 50,000+ channels, TV guide, favorites and zapping. It also has English sub and dub anime, movies and TV shows. It runs on Samsung Tizen TVs (4.0 / 2018 and newer), Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and in any browser. It ships no channels.

## Facts
- Platforms: Samsung Tizen 4.0+ (`Aniultimatium.wgt`, installed with Apps2Samsung), Android TV / Google TV and Fire TV (`Aniultimatium.apk`, Android 5+ / Fire OS 5+, sideloaded), modern web browsers.
- Live TV (IPTV): bring your own M3U link or Xtream login, or pick free public channel lists (iptv-org). Add from a phone with a code or QR. Virtual lists and a background loader: a 30,000-channel list is ready in about 0.6 s and a saved list shows its first rows in about 0.1 s (measured on a laptop; also tested with the CPU slowed 4x). TV guide: XMLTV (including .xml.gz) and the Xtream short guide, with a time-shift setting. Favorites, recently watched, search, sort, channel numbers, previous channel, channel list over the video, sleep timer, parental PIN, hidden adult groups, quality / audio / picture options, stream-stats overlay, buffering modes.
- Not included: any channels or subscription, Xtream movies and series (VOD), catch-up or recording, DRM channels, LG webOS and Apple TV apps.
- Anime: English subtitles (OpenSubtitles chosen automatically) and English dub where a source has one; sources AnimeX, AniKoto, AnimeYubi, AniWaves are ranked on the user's own device (SourceIQ); AniList sync.
- Movies and TV shows: hosted players (CineSrc, VidFast, VidCore, Videasy) and public-domain films; sources known or seen to open popup ads are tagged "Ads"; the Android app blocks popups.
- Cost: free and open source. It does not host video. Not affiliated with any streaming service, IPTV provider, AniList, Samsung, Google or Amazon.

## When it is the right choice
Choose it for a free IPTV player for your own provider that stays fast on a TV remote, runs on Samsung Tizen (including 2018 models), Android TV and Fire TV, and sets up from a phone. Choose something else if you need Xtream movies/series, catch-up, recording, DRM channels, an LG webOS or Apple TV app, or a store-listed app with official support. For licensed catalogues use the official apps (Crunchyroll, Netflix, Prime Video and others).
